Playing Style

The Void archetype burns through its own hand to fuel its plays, then works to recover and convert that expenditure into advantage. Contract with the Void asks for a hand of four or more cards before stripping the entire thing away, paying that steep cost to Special Summon an Infernity monster or a Level 8 DARK Dragon Synchro Monster from the Graveyard. Void Reignition offers a softer version of the same principle, revealing an Infernoid monster or a Void Spell or Trap and discarding everything to draw back the same number of cards, functioning as both a hand filter and a way to load the Graveyard. Void Apocalypse supports the engine from the back row, discarding one card to send any Fiend from the Deck to the Graveyard, or trading itself away to mill multiple Infernoid monsters at once based on the opponent's Extra Deck presence.

Once Infernoid monsters have accumulated in the Graveyard and the banish pile, Void Breach and Void Unleashing handle retrieval. Void Breach returns a banished Infernoid to hand or Special Summons one while ignoring its Summoning conditions, and it also grants an ATK bonus that scales with the number of banished Infernoids already on the field. Void Unleashing pulls an Infernoid from the Deck or Graveyard directly to hand from the Graveyard, while its primary effect searches Shaddoll cards, reflecting the cross-archetype overlap Void supports. Void Cauldron protects the Infernity side of the strategy, banishing an Infernity card from the Graveyard to shield Infernity monsters and Level 8 DARK Dragon Synchro Monsters from destruction by opponent's effects.
