Stardust

The graveyard is the engine that keeps a Stardust deck running. Cards such as Stardust Illumination send Stardust monsters directly from the Deck to the GY, while Stardust Flash and Stardust Shimmer convert that accumulated graveyard presence into immediate Special Summons. Stardust Synchron accelerates the setup by searching any Spell or Trap that mentions Stardust Dragon the moment it hits the field, and Stardust Trail follows up by Special Summoning itself whenever a monster you control is Tributed, making it a near-automatic Synchro material. Together these pieces funnel rapidly into Level 8 Synchro Summons, with Stardust Dragon itself sitting at the end of most opening lines.

The deck's board tends to be built around layered protection rather than raw offensive pressure. Stardust Dragon negates destruction effects by Tributing itself and returns during the End Phase, Stardust Spark Dragon shields any face-up card you control from destruction once per turn, and Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon can Tribute itself mid-turn to bring out Stardust Dragon and immediately Synchro Summon again on top of it, producing monsters that are unaffected by opponent's activated effects that turn. Stardust Wish ensures that Stardust Synchro Monsters which Tribute themselves to activate their own effects come straight back to the field with no window for the opponent to respond.

Reaching the higher Synchro tiers — Stardust Warrior at Level 10 or Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon at Level 12 — requires Tuner Synchro Monsters as materials, so the deck tends to favour going first in order to establish its multi-monster boards before the opponent can interrupt the climbing process.
