Junk Synchron is the card the deck most wants to resolve. When Normal Summoned, it revives any Level 2 or lower monster from the Graveyard, instantly creating a two-piece Synchro Summon from a single Normal Summon. That trigger underpins almost every significant play the archetype makes, whether the goal is pushing through combat with Junk Warrior's ATK-boosting Synchro Summon, clearing the opponent's board with Junk Destroyer, or temporarily removing a threat with Junk Archer.

Getting monsters into the Graveyard to feed Junk Synchron's revival effect is where the supporting cast earns its place. Jet Synchron searches any Junk monster when used as Synchro Material, then returns from the Graveyard at the cost of a hand card, giving the deck a reusable Level 1 body. Junk Converter can be discarded alongside a Tuner to fetch a Synchron monster from the Deck, and when sent to the Graveyard as Synchro Material it revives a Tuner in Defence Position. Junk Meister adds any Junk card on Normal or Special Summon and can reduce a monster's Level to hit specific Synchro thresholds. Junk Anchor extends plays further by reviving a non-Tuner Junk monster from the Graveyard and immediately Synchro Summoning with it, while Junk Connector provides a Link arrow that allows a Synchro Summon during the Battle Phase and replaces itself with a Junk Synchro Monster if destroyed.

Because so much of the strategy depends on Junk Synchron's Normal Summon trigger, the deck favours going first to establish a Synchro Monster before the opponent can disrupt the chain. Starjunk Synchron and Junk Armor offer alternative paths when the primary line is interrupted, and Junk Signal can negate responses to a Synchro Monster's effect, giving the deck some resilience against hand traps and spot negation mid-combo.
