Playing Style
The Majestic archetype is built to put Shooting Majestic Star Dragon or Majestic Star Dragon onto the field through a Synchro ladder anchored by Majestic Dragon and Converging Wills Dragon. Converging Wills Dragon self-deploys the moment it is drawn, triggering a free Special Summon directly from the hand, and if a Level 8 or higher Dragon Synchro is already on the field it immediately searches out a second Level 1 Dragon from the deck — most often Majestic Dragon itself. Because both pieces share the restriction of being usable only as material for a Majestic Synchro, the deck commits hard to its endgame rather than diverting resources into alternative lines.
Shooting Majestic Star Dragon is the preferred ceiling. It negates an opponent's card or effect by banishing itself until the End Phase, leaving the field temporarily rather than destroying itself, and it presses for multiple attacks based on how many Stardust-adjacent monsters sit in the graveyard. Majestic Star Dragon takes a different route to pressure, copying an opponent's monster effect for its own use before returning itself to the Extra Deck at End Phase and reviving Stardust Dragon. Majestic Absorption and Majestic Mirage extend both monsters' reach — Absorption offering direct attacks or burn conversion, while Mirage turns the self-bouncing behaviour of the Synchros into a source of removal or recursive revival. The Majestic Mech cards occupy a separate lane, functioning as normal-summon beatsticks with cost-free deployment that self-destruct at the End Phase, which in practice makes them stopgap threats rather than central pieces.
