The single card the deck most wants to resolve is Meklord Astro Dragon Triskelion. Once on the field, it reaches into the opponent's Extra Deck on each attack declaration, equipping monsters directly from it and converting their combined ATK into its own, then swinging up to three times per Battle Phase while equipped with a Synchro Monster. Getting there requires banishing three differently-named Meklord monsters from the graveyard, which means the early game is largely about flooding the field with expendable bodies and sending them to the graveyard as efficiently as possible.

Meklord Army Deployer Obbligato is the engine that makes this practical. By destroying itself during the Main Phase, it pulls two Meklord Army monsters directly from the deck in Defence Position, seeding the graveyard with the fodder Triskelion needs while simultaneously qualifying for Meklord Astro Dragon Asterisk, which requires three Meklord monsters on the field and can absorb them to convert their raw ATK into a single threat. Meklord Nucleus Infinity Core supports the setup from a different angle, searching a Meklord Spell or Trap on summon and triggering a free Emperor special summon from hand or deck if destroyed by a card effect, making it a natural target for the self-destruction effect on Meklord Assembly.

The Meklord Emperors — Wisel, Skiel, and Granel — arrive without needing a normal summon whenever a face-up monster is destroyed by card effect, so the deck can replenish its board presence reactively. Meklord Emperor Wisel and its counterpart Wisel Synchro Absorption both carry built-in disruption against Synchro-heavy strategies, the former negating Spell activations and the latter tributing itself to negate destruction effects, giving the deck a measure of resilience against the Extra Deck strategies it is specifically designed to punish.
