Number S0: Utopic ZEXAL is the card this deck is built to resolve. Once it hits the field via a discarded Rank-Up-Magic Normal Spell using a Utopia monster as material, its Xyz Summon cannot be negated, and the activation itself seals off all opponent responses — meaning the established board simply cannot interact. From that position, its once-per-opponent's-turn Quick Effect locks out every card and effect for the entire turn, essentially denying the opponent any meaningful action for as long as Utopic ZEXAL holds materials.

Getting there begins with the ZS monsters. ZS - Ascended Sage Special Summons itself from the hand when you control no cards, and any Utopia Xyz Monster summoned using it searches a Rank-Up-Magic Normal Spell — the exact piece needed to summon Number S0. ZS - Armed Sage follows a similar self-special summon condition and feeds a ZW monster into hand when its hosted Utopia is Xyz Summoned. ZS - Utopic Sage, the Rank 4 Xyz built from two Level 4s, can detach materials to directly recruit a ZW or ZS monster from the Deck, generating the board presence needed to climb toward Number S0. Zexal Construction and Zexal Catapult provide further consistency, searching across the entire ZW, ZS, and Rank-Up-Magic suite and enabling level manipulation to smooth out Xyz plays.

The supporting ZW monsters do more than fill material slots. ZW - Sylphid Wing protects Utopia's material count by substituting itself when an effect is detached, preserving the attached materials that give Number S0 both its ATK boost and its longevity. ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber offers spot negation against opponent monster effects while equipped, and ZW - Dragonic Halberd adds a search for Zexal Spell and Trap cards alongside a substantial 3000 ATK bonus. Zexal Alliance provides a recovery line when the board is broken, doubling a revived Utopia's ATK and shielding it from all destruction except battle with another Number monster.
