White Forest

The White Forest archetype runs on a deliberate cycle of spending Spells and Traps to fuel monster effects, then recovering those same cards from the graveyard to spend again. Astellar of the White Forest, Elzette of the White Forest, and Rucia of the White Forest each carry an effect that sends a Spell or Trap from the hand or field to the graveyard in exchange for Special Summons or draws, while the archetype's own Spell and Trap cards — Tales of the White Forest, Beware the White Forest, Scourge of the White Forest, and Woes of the White Forest — each carry a clause that allows them to be Set directly from the graveyard whenever they are sent there to pay that cost. This creates a loop where the same Spell or Trap can be spent repeatedly across a single turn.

The end goal is a field of Illusion and Spellcaster Synchro Monsters, typically led by Diabell, Queen of the White Forest, whose Quick Effect responds to any opponent's card activation by Special Summoning a Level 7 or lower Tuner Synchro Monster from the Extra Deck, graveyard, or banishment — again at the cost of discarding a Spell or Trap. Poplar of the White Forest reinforces this by placing used White Forest monsters into the Spell and Trap Zone as Continuous Spells, keeping material available for further tribute costs. Rciela, Sinister Soul of the White Forest protects the board by granting effect destruction immunity to all Illusion and Spellcaster Synchro Monsters, while Silvera, Wolf Tamer of the White Forest turns that protected board into an offensive threat by flipping opponent monsters face-down and enabling double piercing damage through them.
