Supreme King Dragon

Supreme King Dragon is a Pendulum archetype that doubles as its own engine, each member designed to generate the Pendulum Scales, hand presence, and Extra Deck material that the strategy needs without relying on outside cards. The critical piece is Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm, which can revive itself from the Graveyard whenever the controller has no monsters, then search a Supreme King Gate Pendulum Monster on arrival. That self-recursion loop means the deck can rebuild a Pendulum Scale from almost nothing, giving it a resilience uncommon in strategies of this type.

Once Scales are established, the deck funnels DARK Pendulum Monsters into the Extra Deck to enable its summon ladders. Supreme King Dragon Dark Rebellion asks for two Level 4 DARK Pendulum Monsters and rewards the investment with a combat threat that drains an opponent's monster down to zero ATK while absorbing that lost value itself, before optionally bouncing back to the Extra Deck to replace itself with Pendulum Monsters for further plays. Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom sits at the top of that ladder as an eight-star Fusion that copies the name and full effect suite of any monster on the field or in the Graveyard, turning the opponent's best card against them while also granting piercing damage for the turn.

Supreme King Dragon Lightwurm ties the gameplan together on the back end, triggering from the Extra Deck whenever a face-up Pendulum Monster is destroyed to return itself to hand, and on summon fetching a Pendulum Monster from the Extra Deck before immediately enabling a Synchro or Xyz Summon. The archetype accordingly plays well going first, establishing layered follow-up, but its depth of resources also gives it genuine recovery tools when forced to play from behind.
