Ritual Beast Tamer

Playing Style
The Ritual Beast Tamer monsters are the main deck humans of the Ritual Beast archetype, each designed to accelerate access to the Spiritual Beast monsters they partner with. Ritual Beast Tamer Elder grants an additional Normal Summon for a Ritual Beast monster the turn it is played, effectively letting the player put two monsters on the field from a single turn's Normal Summon allotment. Ritual Beast Tamer Lara recovers a Ritual Beast from the Graveyard upon her Normal Summon, while Ritual Beast Tamer Wen instead returns a banished Ritual Beast to the field — a crucial distinction given how heavily the archetype relies on banishing for its contact fusion plays.
Spiritual Beast Tamer Lara extends these lines further by discarding herself to grant an immediate Normal Summon, and once banished she fetches any Ritual Beast directly from the Deck. This makes her an efficient starter and a resilient follow-up piece simultaneously. Spiritual Beast Tamer Winda offers a different kind of staying power: when destroyed by an opponent's card, she replaces herself with any Ritual Beast from the Deck or Extra Deck, ignoring Summoning conditions entirely, which can rebuild a disrupted board at no cost.
The Zefra variants, Zeframpilica and Zefrawendi, extend the archetype into Pendulum territory. Zeframpilica mirrors Lara's Graveyard recovery on summon, while Zefrawendi searches a face-up Zefra monster from the Extra Deck, opening hybrid lines that blend Ritual Beast contact fusions with the broader Zefra engine.
