Playing Style

Facing a Power Patron player often means watching your own field dismantle itself before you get a chance to respond. The deck assembles Nerva the Power Patron of Creation, Jupiter the Power Patron of Destruction, and Junora the Power Patron of Tuning across its Extra Deck and field simultaneously, and once all three are present, Plundered Power Patron Plane - Vidolia and Prohibitive Power Patron Purview - Vilaea lock the opponent out of responding to Power Patron effects entirely. Junora negates all face-up cards the opponent controls on its Synchro Summon, Jupiter recovers Equip Spells from the GY to fuel its own ATK and destruction effects, and Nerva can redirect any Artmage monster's effect into a full board wipe. The Field Spell also drains opposing ATK for every banished card, a number that climbs quickly given how liberally the archetype banishes face-down.

The path to that endgame runs through Prohibited Power Patron Portal - Terminus, which sends a Power Patron monster to the GY to search a DARK Fairy and seeds the GY for later plays, and through Purification Power Patron, a Link-2 that searches Theorealize cards and immediately chains into a further Link Summon. Vidolium the Unstable Power Patron of Unity sits at the top of the pyramid: once its pendulum effect grants a Level 12 Power Patron 5000 ATK, or its monster effect banishes both GYs face-down, the opponent's recovery options shrink dramatically. Power Patron Shade of the Final Hour can deploy any of these pieces from the GY at the cost of a trap activation, meaning the deck's pressure does not simply stop when the first wave of plays resolves.
