Playing Style

The Mekk-Knight deck builds its engine through column manipulation, exploiting the shared rule that most members can Special Summon themselves from the hand whenever two or more cards occupy the same column. Mekk-Knight Purple Nightfall is the primary search tool, banishing a Mekk-Knight you control to fetch any other member from the Deck, then returning the banished monster during the next Standby Phase. Mekk-Knight Blue Sky adds further reach on the turn it is summoned, searching a number of differently named Mekk-Knight monsters equal to the opponent's cards in its column, rewarding the player for playing into a board the opponent has already established. Mekk-Knight of the Morning Star accelerates access to World Legacy spells and traps on its Link Summon, turning a discard into a search and opening routes to World Legacy Scars, World Legacy Whispers, and World Legacy's Secret, each of which negates the opponent's card effects that activate in the column of a Mekk-Knight you control.

Those continuous spell and trap negations give the deck a meaningful going-first presence, punishing opponents who commit cards to columns where Mekk-Knights sit. Mekk-Knight Indigo Eclipse and its Quick Effect to reposition any Mekk-Knight across the Main Monster Zones lets the player shift monsters into whichever column threatens the most disruption. On the offensive side, Red Moon and Yellow Star destroy monsters and spells respectively by banishing a Mekk-Knight from the graveyard, while Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme can attack directly when its column is otherwise clear. World Legacy Scars offers a late-game reset condition by banishing eight differently named Mekk-Knights to empty the opponent's hand and Extra Deck entirely.
