Playing Style
The A-to-Z archetype cycles aggressively through its banish pile, spending banished resources to maintain board presence and then recovering them through A-to-Z Energy Load. The central engine rests on three Union monsters — X-Cross Cannon, Y-Yare Head, and Z-Zillion Tank — that attach to one another, protect their host from destruction, and gradually stack materials on the field or in the graveyard for larger plays. X-Cross Cannon can search out a Union partner directly from the Deck by equipping it as a Spell, while Z-Zillion Tank reaches into the banish pile to recycle whatever has already been spent, keeping the chain of equip attachments running across multiple turns.
Once all three components are assembled on the field or in the graveyard, the deck banishes them to Special Summon XYZ-Hyper Dragon Cannon, a Level 9 Fusion that threatens a free spot removal once per opponent's turn and, when sent away, immediately revives up to three materials from the graveyard or banishment to prepare a Level 8 Fusion. A-to-Z Energy Load reinforces this loop from the trap zone, drawing cards off the Fusion monsters already in play during an opponent's disruption attempt and then shuffling up to six banished LIGHT Machine monsters back into the Deck during the following Standby Phase.
Because the deck depends on resolving equip attachments across several steps before reaching its Fusion payoffs, it naturally favours a slower, resource-oriented approach over explosive one-turn setups, rewarding patience and precise sequencing over raw speed.
