X-Saber

X-Saber is a graveyard-hungry EARTH deck that constantly cycles monsters in and out of the graveyard to flood the field, then converts that board into powerful Synchro plays. The graveyard is both the resource pool and the engine: XX-Saber Emmersblade replaces itself with a free Deck Special Summon when destroyed by battle, XX-Saber Darksoul searches any X-Saber the moment it leaves the field, and XX-Saber Ragigura recovers a graveyard member simply by being summoned. These triggers chain together naturally, letting the deck rebuild its board almost as fast as the opponent tears it down.

The flagship combo piece is XX-Saber Faultroll, which drops from the hand for free whenever two or more X-Sabers are face-up and immediately revives a Level 4 or lower member from the graveyard. Pairing Faultroll with XX-Saber Boggart Knight, which Special Summons a second X-Saber on Normal Summon, creates enough bodies in a single turn to Synchro Summon XX-Saber Hyunlei and wipe up to three of the opponent's Spell and Trap Cards on arrival, or to reach XX-Saber Gottoms and begin stripping the opponent's hand by tributing X-Sabers the deck would rather cycle anyway. Gottoms' Emergency Call can extend these plays further by pulling two X-Sabers from either graveyard at once.

Hand destruction is the deck's preferred way to close out games: Gottoms strips cards through repeated tributing, X-Saber Airbellum discards randomly on direct attacks, and X-Saber Urbellum returns cards to the top of a full hand. Running the opponent out of resources while maintaining a wide board generally leaves little room for a comeback.
