Twilightsworn

Playing Style
Twilightsworn decks are built from four main deck monsters, each designed to trade a banished Lightsworn for a specific effect. Lumina, Twilightsworn Shaman is the engine's centrepiece: by banishing any Lightsworn from the hand or graveyard, she returns a different banished Lightsworn directly to the field, turning the removal of Lightsworn monsters into a stream of free Special Summons. Jain, Twilightsworn General converts a banished Lightsworn's Level into an ATK and DEF reduction of 300 per Level, softening opposing monsters for battle. Lyla, Twilightsworn Enchantress provides on-demand Spell and Trap removal as a Quick Effect, requiring only a single banished Lightsworn to pop a face-up card at virtually any moment. Ryko, Twilightsworn Fighter rounds out the suite with unconditional banishment of any card on the field upon being Normal Summoned or flipped.
All four monsters share a secondary mill trigger: whenever another Lightsworn monster's effect is activated, each Twilightsworn sends two or three cards from the top of the deck to the graveyard. This creates a self-reinforcing loop where chaining effects across multiple Twilightsworn monsters rapidly fills the graveyard with Lightsworn names, feeding further activations of the banish costs. Because the deck depends so heavily on having Lightsworn monsters available to banish, opening hands that are light on Lightsworn names can stall the engine before it properly begins.
