Playing Style

Tri-Brigade's engine begins with Fraktall, which pitches itself from the hand to send a lower-level Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast from the Deck to the Graveyard. That sent monster — most often Nervall or Kitt — then triggers on arrival: Nervall searches another Tri-Brigade monster from the Deck, while Kitt loads another Tri-Brigade card. Once two or three monsters have accumulated in the Graveyard through this chain of self-replacing effects, any member carrying the shared banish ability — Fraktall, Kerass, Kitt, or Nervall — can banish that pile to Link Summon directly from the Extra Deck, bypassing the normal summoning sequence entirely. The resulting Links then go to the Graveyard through further climbing, where Shuraig the Ominous Omen searches a monster on departure and banishes an opposing card each time a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast arrives, while Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager fetches a Tri-Brigade Spell or Trap to load the backrow.

That backrow is where the deck applies most of its persistent pressure. Tri-Brigade Revolt recovers banished and Graveyard monsters in one sweep and immediately Link Summons from them, threatening a full board rebuild from a single trap during the opponent's turn. Tri-Brigade Roar sends a card from the Deck to the Graveyard to remove, silence, or bounce a monster depending on what is sent, keeping the GY stocked while generating interaction. Kerass's discard-to-Special-Summon effect means the deck can often extend through hand traps, and Ferrijit the Barren Blossom adds draw smoothing on its way to the Graveyard, giving the deck reasonable resilience across multiple turns. The constant cycling between Deck, Graveyard, and banished zone means disruption that removes cards from the field rarely removes them from the game — they simply migrate to the next usable zone.
