Playing Style
Timelord decks win by cycling indestructible Level 10 Fairy monsters across consecutive turns, using each one's post-battle trigger to grind the opponent down through direct damage, halved life points, bounced monsters, or shuffled resources. Every Timelord member shares a Standby Phase self-return clause that sends it back into the Deck, so Time Maiden is the engine's heartbeat: she can tribute herself to search any Timelord with 0 ATK, or banish herself from the Graveyard to Special Summon one straight from the Deck while ignoring its Normal Summon conditions. That single card provides both consistency and recovery, letting the deck reload a threat on virtually any turn.
The three continuous trap chain Empty Machine, Infinite Machine, and Infinite Light forms a sequential upgrade ladder. Empty Machine sets up Infinite Machine, which in turn sets up Infinite Light, the endpoint that lets the deck Special Summon up to one Timelord each from the hand, Deck, and Graveyard simultaneously while also shielding them from targeting and forced returns. Reaching Infinite Light effectively turns every Standby Phase shuffle into an opportunity rather than a loss, since new Timelords immediately repopulate the field.
The deck is naturally suited to going second or to stall-oriented play, as each Timelord requires an empty field to be Normal Summoned freely. Michion halves the opponent's life points on contact, Metaion bounces the entire field back to hand, and Sandaion deals a flat 2000 damage, so even a handful of uninterrupted attacks across two or three turns can close out a game without the deck ever mounting a conventional board.
