Tearlaments

Tearlaments is one of the few decks in the game capable of generating full, multi-layered boards from a single card. Nearly every Main Deck member milling the top three cards of the Deck on summon creates a self-reinforcing loop: any Tearlaments monster that happens to land in the GY from those mills immediately triggers its own Fusion Summon effect, placing materials from the hand, field, or GY directly into a Fusion without requiring a dedicated Polymerization-style card. Tearlaments Scheiren can begin this chain entirely unassisted during the Main Phase, while Tearlaments Reinoheart loads the GY proactively by sending any other Tearlaments monster from the Deck on normal or special summon. Because each mill is a genuine chance to trigger another Fusion effect, the deck snowballs rapidly even when starting from a single piece.

The end goal is Tearlaments Rulkallos sitting on board alongside supporting disruptions. Rulkallos negates any opponent effect that includes a Special Summon and, if sent to the GY itself, simply returns — a loop that punishes most standard recovery attempts. Reaching Rulkallos requires Tearlaments Kitkallos as material, and Kitkallos contributes its own layer by searching or milling any Tearlaments card on summon and sending the top five cards of the Deck when it eventually reaches the GY. Tearlaments Cryme and Tearlaments Sulliek back up the board as additional negation pieces, and because both carry GY effects that trigger when milled, they carry real value even before being set.

The deck strongly favours going first, where establishing Rulkallos and banked GY effects forces the opponent into an immediate resource deficit. Tearlaments Scream and Tearlaments Perlegia extend the reach of each Tearlaments summon during that setup, with Perlegia funnelling non-Tearlaments Aqua monsters from the Deck into the GY to broaden the available Fusion material pool further.
