The card the Slime deck most wants to keep on the field is Revival Jam. Its self-resurrection effect, triggered by paying 1000 Life Points whenever it is destroyed in battle, makes it almost impossible to remove through combat alone, and the rest of the deck is built to exploit that stubborn persistence. Jam Defender channels every incoming attack toward Revival Jam rather than any other monster the controller has in play, ensuring that the board stays intact while the opponent wastes resources swinging into an endlessly regenerating target. Metal Reflect Slime supplements this defensive wall by arriving as a Level 10 Aqua monster with 3000 DEF directly from the Trap Zone, giving the player a second enormous roadblock that requires non-battle removal to address.

The deck's offensive angle is narrower but still present. Jam Breeding Machine generates a Slime Token during each Standby Phase, gradually accumulating bodies that can be sent forward or used to satisfy tribute requirements. Humanoid Worm Drake offers a Fusion play using Humanoid Slime, and Magical Reflect Slime punishes any opponent who does commit to a direct attack by reflecting all Battle Damage back at them once it has been Normal Summoned into its effect form.

Because the strategy depends on sustained upkeep — paying Life Points for Revival Jam, waiting on Jam Breeding Machine triggers, and holding Jam Defender open — it is naturally oriented toward going first and establishing its loop before the opponent can apply spell and trap removal, which is the most straightforward way to dismantle the whole setup.
