Rikka

Rikka runs its engine through a self-replacing loop of Tribute effects. Mudan the Rikka Fairy accelerates the opening by Tributing any Plant monster to Special Summon itself from the hand, then searching a Rikka Spell or Trap upon arrival — typically Rikka Glamour, which can fetch a second Rikka monster and a same-Level Plant alongside it when a Tribute is paid on activation. Snowdrop the Rikka Fairy extends this further by Tributing one Plant to Special Summon both itself and another Plant from the hand, then equalising the Levels of every Plant monster it controls, enabling Xyz Summons with minimal setup. The Rikka fairies that fuel these Tributes are rarely gone for good: Cyclamen the Rikka Fairy returns from the GY during the End Phase after being Tributed, and Erica the Rikka Fairy revives itself whenever any Plant on the field is Tributed.

The Extra Deck provides the pressure. Rikka Queen Strenna sits at Rank 4 and recycles resources by recovering Plant monsters or Rikka cards from the GY, then converts itself into Kanzashi the Rikka Queen when Tributed, pulling a Rank 6 body onto the field that steals monsters from either GY. Rikka Konkon makes the Tribute engine disruptive in the opponent's turn as well, allowing the deck to Tribute an opponent's monster as the cost for activating Rikka effects. Rikka Flurries punishes the opponent further by forcing an additional Tribute on their side whenever a Rikka monster is Tributed, a punishing drain that accumulates quickly when Erica or Cyclamen reset themselves at no real card cost.
