Recipe

The Recipe archetype is a suite of Ritual Spells and Trap Cards built to support Nouvelles Ritual Monsters, and it rarely accomplishes anything meaningful until at least two or three pieces are assembled together. Recette de Poisson and Recette de Viande are the primary Ritual Spells, both able to summon any Nouvelles Ritual Monster using Tributes from hand or field. Each carries a conditional bonus effect tied to a specific monster: Poisson searches another Recipe Ritual Spell from the Deck or Graveyard when Buerillabaisse de Nouvelles is the summoned target, creating a chain of access that keeps resources flowing, while Viande flips all of the opponent's Defence Position monsters face-up when used to summon Confiras de Nouvelles, stripping away a common stalling posture.

Recette de Personnel provides supplementary Ritual Summon coverage through a different route, generating a Nouvelles Token whose Level mirrors a Ritual Monster on the field before sending itself to the Graveyard to fund a Tribute-exact Ritual Summon from hand. This precision requirement means careful hand management is necessary to avoid dead draws.

Chef's Special Recipe is the archetype's defensive ceiling. While a Nouvelles Ritual Monster is on the field, it negates any Spell, Trap, or monster effect, and can destroy the negated card if a monster Special Summoned by a Nouvelles effect is also present. A second trigger allows it to be banished from the Graveyard when Hungry Burger is Special Summoned, forcing the opponent to Tribute their entire field — a punishing swing that can clear the board in a single response.
