Plunder Patroll

The Plunder Patroll deck treats the hand as a living resource, constantly cycling cards in and out to keep the Spell and Trap Zone stocked with Fiend monsters equipped as Equip Spells. Main Deck members such as Whitebeard, the Plunder Patroll Helm and Redbeard, the Plunder Patroll Matey can equip themselves to Extra Deck ships during the opponent's turn by matching the Attribute of whatever the opponent controls, turning reactive play into immediate board presence. Blackeyes, the Plunder Patroll Seaguide then converts a monster sitting in the Graveyard back to the hand, while Bluebeard, the Plunder Patroll Shipwright replaces a discard with a fresh draw when sent to the Graveyard, ensuring the hand rarely runs dry.

The Extra Deck ships are the instruments through which the deck closes games. Plunder Patrollship Lys negates monster effects by discarding a Plunder Patroll card, searching another in return when equipped. Plunder Patrollship Brann banishes opposing Spells and Traps, and Plunder Patrollship Moerk banishes opposing monsters outright, both gaining Quick Effect status once equipped. Blackbeard, the Plunder Patroll Captain accelerates the engine further by equipping a monster and drawing a card in a single activation.

Because so many Equip-based triggers fire during the opponent's turn, the deck is genuinely comfortable in either position. Going first, Plunder Patroll Shipyarrrd tutors key pieces while setting up the Spell and Trap Zone; Plunder Patroll Parrrty then converts an accumulated stack of Equip Cards into a deep refill, keeping disruption available across multiple turns.
