Mecha Phantom Beast

Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack is the card the deck is built to put on the field. Once live, it generates two free Tokens every turn, and those Tokens feed directly into its own removal effect — Tribute one to destroy any card on the field while Dracossack itself sits immune to destruction behind them. Reaching two Level 7 monsters for its Xyz Summon is the central puzzle the deck solves, and it does so almost entirely through Token generation. Mecha Phantom Beast Tetherwolf and Mecha Phantom Beast Coltwing each produce Tokens on their own summon, raising their own Levels in the process, while Mecha Phantom Beast Megaraptor extends any Token summon into an additional search, finding whatever piece is missing. Mecha Phantom Beast O-Lion threads the engine together from the Graveyard, banishing itself to grant an extra Normal Summon and leaving a Token behind when it is sent.

Mecha Phantom Beast Auroradon provides a more modern route into the same territory — Link Summoning it floods the field with three Tokens immediately, enabling Synchro plays through Mecha Phantom Beast Warbluran or Blue Impala and reaching Mecha Phantom Beast Jaculuslan, whose on-summon effect strips cards randomly from the opponent's hand scaled to the number of Tokens Tributed.

The deck strongly favours going first, using Dracossack, Jaculuslan, and Do a Barrel Roll — which converts a pile of Tokens into a full negation — to build a board the opponent must dismantle before mounting any offence.
