Light and Darkness Ritual

Playing Style
The deck aims to end its turn with one of its two Ritual Monsters on the field alongside a face-up Continuous Trap and ideally a disruption piece in hand or on the field. Both Magician of Dark Chaos - Black Chaos and Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Light and Darkness are immune to opponent's activated effects unless targeted, making them exceptionally difficult to remove through conventional means, and Magician of Dark Chaos also prevents Spells and Traps you control from being destroyed or banished, shielding the backrow the deck relies on. From that protected board, Black Luster Soldier threatens to banish a card on summon and snowball further through battle by gaining 1500 ATK and attacking twice.
Setting up the Ritual Summon typically runs through Celtic Mystic and Skull Archfiend of Chaos. Celtic Mystic can search three cards when summoned with a relevant card revealed, then tribute itself to drop a Ritual Monster directly from hand. Skull Archfiend recycles banished or graveyard resources to search whichever Ritual Monster the situation demands, while also sending Light and Darkness Ritual to the graveyard on its own way out, where the Ritual Spell can later recover itself alongside another relevant card. Griffoh rounds out the engine by setting a Quick-Play Spell or Trap directly from the deck at instant speed, or covering for incoming damage.
The deck's interactive tools give it real teeth on the opponent's turn as well. Chaos Magical Hats converts a monster effect or Normal Spell into an opponent destroying their own monster in face-down Defence, while Mind Shuffle's bounce-and-swap effect keeps the opponent guessing which monster they are actually facing.
