Playing Style
The Herald archetype spends hand cards as its primary resource, discarding Fairy monsters to power a wall of blanket negation. Herald of Perfection and Herald of Ultimateness both negate any Spell, Trap, or monster effect by sending a Fairy from hand to the Graveyard, with Ultimateness extending that coverage to opponent's Special Summons as well. Establishing either Ritual monster on the first turn and maintaining a stocked hand is how the deck closes out games, grinding opponents down until they cannot push through the repeated interruptions.
Diviner of the Herald is the engine's ignition point, sending a Fairy from Deck or Extra Deck to the Graveyard on arrival and adjusting its own Level for Synchro plays. Herald of the Arc Light is the natural Synchro payoff, searching any Ritual Monster or Ritual Spell upon leaving the field and replacing a used-up interrupter with fresh resources. Herald of Mirage Lights supplements this loop by recycling Ritual Monsters and Ritual Spells from the Graveyard whenever an opponent removes it. Herald of Pure Light provides additional hand replenishment by returning a Graveyard monster to hand, keeping the discard fodder flowing for the Ritual monsters' negation effects.
Herald of Orange Light, Green Light, and Purple Light each negate a specific card category by pitching themselves alongside another Fairy, giving the deck meaningful interaction even before the Ritual monster is live. Because the entire strategy depends on holding Fairy monsters in hand, disruption that depletes the hand before the Ritual summon resolves can expose the deck's central mechanism before it is properly established.
