Gold Pride

Gold Pride is an archetype that wants to resolve Gold Pride - Pin Baller as quickly and as repeatedly as possible. When Fusion Summoned, Pin Baller strips the opponent's field of face-up monsters by equipping them to itself, and provided the LP condition is met, that effect cannot be negated. Because the entire archetype keys off having lower LP than the opponent, the deck actively spends its own life points to unlock its effects — Gold Pride - Better Luck Next Time! reduces LP equal to the recruited monster's ATK on activation, and Gold Pride - The Crowd Goes Wild! can do the same when Special Summoning from hand, making the self-damage a resource rather than a cost.

Getting to Pin Baller runs through Gold Pride - Roller Baller, whose Quick Effect during the Main Phase can Fusion Summon using materials already on the field. Gold Pride - Chariot Carrie, made from two Level 3 monsters such as Captain Carrie, fetches a Gold Pride Spell while sending a monster from Deck to the GY to seed follow-up plays. Captain Carrie herself grabs a Gold Pride Trap on summon, and her GY trigger can pump an Extra Deck monster's ATK by banishing up to three Gold Pride cards — relevant when Star Leon has already stolen a target's ATK value.

The Extra Deck monsters share a self-recycling pattern: each one returns to the Extra Deck at the End Phase if its effect resolved that turn, replacing itself with the corresponding Main Deck monster from the Deck or GY. This means Eradicator, Nytro Blaster, Star Leon, and Pin Baller continuously rebuild the hand and field rather than trading one-for-one, giving the deck unusual recovery even after the opponent clears the board.
