Facing Fur Hire, an opponent watches the board escalate rapidly from a single Normal Summon. Each Fur Hire monster carries an inherent Special Summon effect that pulls another member from the hand, and almost every member triggers an additional ability whenever a Fur Hire arrives to the field while it is present. A single Beat, Bladesman Fur Hire or Seal, Strategist Fur Hire on the table can therefore chain into a search, then a new Special Summon, which triggers Donpa, Marksman Fur Hire to pop a face-up card, or Recon, Scout Fur Hire to destroy a Set card, and so on until the hand is spent and the field is crowded with different Types ready to Link Summon Folgo, Justice Fur Hire or Donner, Dagger Fur Hire.

The deck's ultimate pressure comes from landing Rafale, Champion Fur Hire and Wiz, Sage Fur Hire simultaneously. Rafale negates monster effects by discarding a Fur Hire card, while Wiz neutralises Spell and Trap activations the same way, leaving the opponent with very little room to interact. Fandora, the Flying Fighting Furtress amplifies the entire board's attack strength based on the number of differently-named Fur Hire monsters present, meaning a wide field translates directly into threatening attack values.

The archetype favours going first, since establishing Wiz and Rafale behind a full board is substantially harder to disrupt than to construct. Keel, Shipwright Fur Hire shores up the going-second game somewhat, as its graveyard effect can Special Summon additional Fur Hire monsters during the opponent's turn to maintain board presence through interaction, and Whirlwind Fur Hire provides emergency deployment when the field is empty.
