Fortune Lady

Opponents facing Fortune Lady often feel like they are gradually being worn down rather than hit with a single decisive blow. The archetype is built from a suite of Spellcaster monsters that all scale their ATK and DEF to their current Level, which rises automatically each Standby Phase. This means that even a modest board left unchecked becomes increasingly threatening over time, and cards such as Fortune Lady Earth punish that growth directly by dealing 400 damage each time her Level increases. Fortune Lady Every, the archetype's Synchro centrepiece, compounds the pressure by banishing an opponent's monster once per Standby Phase and then returning herself from the Graveyard at the opponent's End Phase, making her exceptionally difficult to permanently remove.

The deck assembles its plays through Fortune Lady Light and Fortune Lady Calling working in tandem. Light's replacement effect searches directly from the Deck whenever she leaves the field by card effect, while Calling brings out a second Fortune Lady immediately, setting the stage for a Synchro Summon. Fortune Lady Past extends this further by manipulating the Levels of other Fortune Ladies through banishing Spellcasters, smoothing the path to Every. Fortune's Future and Fortune Lady Rewind then recycle banished monsters into fresh resources, ensuring the deck rarely runs out of material across a long game.

Going first, the deck can threaten Bending Destiny as counter-trap disruption provided the board is exclusively Fortune Ladies, and Fortune Vision offers both card advantage and conditional protection. The reliance on Standby Phase triggers does mean that faster strategies can close out a game before the level-scaling payoffs fully materialise.
