F.A. is a racing-themed Machine archetype whose monsters gain ATK equal to their current Level multiplied by 300, meaning that managing Level counters is inseparable from managing combat power. Unlike most Level-based strategies that fix their monsters at a particular point on the scale, F.A. monsters are designed to climb continuously: every time an F.A. Spell or Trap Card activates, each monster on the field can increase its Level by 1, turning a sequence of spell and trap activations into a steady accumulation of both stats and gated abilities. F.A. Hang On Mach becomes immune to lower-Level monster effects, F.A. Sonic Meister gains a second attack, and F.A. Whip Crosser cuts off hand-discard effects once each reaches Level 7, so the goal is simply to hit those thresholds as quickly as possible.
The Field Spells are the engine's foundation, with F.A. Auto Navigator fetching whichever one is needed on arrival while simultaneously redistributing Level counters across the board. F.A. City Grand Prix raises all F.A. Levels during both the Main and Battle Phases and shields the monsters from targeting, whereas F.A. Circuit Grand Prix rewards combat kills with draws. F.A. Dawn Dragster adds Synchro pressure by spending Level to negate Spell and Trap activations, and F.A. Shining Star GT converts accumulated spell activations directly into monster-effect negations through Athlete Counters.
The alternate path to victory through F.A. Winners rewards patient resource management: banishing three differently named F.A. Field Spells via its own effect ends the duel outright, offering a route to winning that bypasses combat entirely when the board state makes it difficult to push through damage.
