Playing Style

Evil HERO is a Fusion-based archetype that requires only a single card to begin generating advantage — Evil HERO Adusted Gold discards itself to search Dark Fusion or any card that names it, meaning the deck is effectively live from a one-card hand. From there, Evil HERO Infernal Rider extends further by searching Dark Fusion on summon, and Evil HERO Sinister Necrom banishes itself from the graveyard to special summon any Evil HERO from the hand or deck, providing the bodies needed to feed into Dark Fusion's Fusion Summon. Supreme King's Castle removes the dependency on Dark Fusion entirely by allowing other effects to perform those fusions, giving the deck redundancy against spell negation.

The Fusion monsters themselves cover a wide range of threats. Evil HERO Malicious Bane is indestructible by battle or card effects and clears the board of weaker monsters during the Main Phase, though at the cost of leaving direct attacks to HERO monsters only. Evil HERO Darkest Knight weakens everything the opponent controls by the total original ATK of its materials and attacks twice. Evil HERO Neos Lord steals an opponent's monster on summon and repeats the effect whenever the opponent sends monsters to the graveyard, making it disruptive in either player's turn. Evil HERO Infernal Rider also sets Super Polymerization from the deck as a follow-up, opening interaction windows the opponent must play through. Evil HERO Toxic Bubble rewards maintaining a Dark Fusion monster on the field by drawing two cards on its own special summon, keeping resources flowing through longer games.
