Playing Style

Enneacraft is a Pendulum archetype built around a cycle of face-down Defence Position monsters that flip themselves face-up in response to the opponent's actions, triggering search effects and disruptive FLIP abilities as they do. The deck's small Level 1 members — Deftero, Ekto, Enato, Proto, and Trito — each search any Enneacraft card from the Deck when the opponent activates a specific category of effect, such as adding cards to hand, Special Summoning, activating GY effects, or using hand monster effects. Every one of them can also be revealed from hand to Special Summon another monster in face-down Defence Position, chaining that setup into further disruption. Enneacraft Release and Enneacraft Reset accelerate the Pendulum Zones, with Release placing any Enneacraft Pendulum Monster directly from the Deck and recycling spent copies from the Extra Deck, while Reset deploys Enneapolis and can mass-flip friendly monsters back face-down to reset the disruption loop.

The Level 9 members — Aiza.LEON, Archa.TAIL, Asta.PIXEA, Atil.SPIA, and Atori.MAR — are the deck's primary threats, each draining 900 LP per opponent trigger once flipped and each carrying its own reactive Quick Effect. Atori.MAR flips all opposing monsters face-down and negates on-field activations, Asta.PIXEA shuts off targeting entirely, and Atil.SPIA punishes chaining by retroactively negating and destroying earlier links. Enneapolis converts the accumulated E.C. Counters from every flip event into a burst of burn damage at the End Phase, meaning a prolonged exchange of flips and responses can end the game through accumulated chip damage rather than combat alone.
