Empowered Warrior

Playing Style
Empowered Warriors do not need a long setup before they begin generating advantage. Terratiger, the Empowered Warrior kick-starts the deck on the turn it is Normal Summoned, immediately Special Summoning a Level 4 or lower Normal Monster from the hand, enabling Xyz or Synchro plays with a single card. From there, the deck sustains itself through destruction triggers: Arnis, the Empowered Warrior replaces itself with any Spellcaster with 1500 or less ATK from the Deck when destroyed in battle, while Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior searches a Warrior or Spellcaster with 2000 or less ATK at the End Phase after being destroyed. These two pieces mean the deck rarely runs dry, threading together fresh bodies each time the opponent clears the board.
The Pendulum members give the archetype a defensive angle that slows opposing aggression. Dragodies halves an attacking monster's ATK and DEF at the start of the Damage Step for the cost of a discard, and Dragonox, the Empowered Warrior can sacrifice itself from the Pendulum Zone entirely to cut off the opponent's Battle Phase. Dragonox in the Monster Zone also recycles Graveyard resources by reviving a Warrior or Spellcaster in face-down Defence Position for a discard. Ventdra, the Empowered Warrior adds pressure by attacking directly and recovering a Normal Monster from the Graveyard on leaving the field, giving the deck a way to threaten life points while recycling the Normal Monsters that Terratiger depends on.
