Eldlich the Golden Lord anchors the deck's engine by recycling itself from the Graveyard at the cost of a Spell or Trap, returning to the hand and immediately Special Summoning a Zombie from the hand with a temporary buff and destruction immunity. The three Eldlixir cards — Black Awakening, Scarlet Sanguine, and White Destiny — exist primarily to fetch or revive Eldlich the Golden Lord, while Cursed Eldland searches either the boss monster or a Golden Land Spell/Trap directly from the Deck and can send one to the Graveyard when it is destroyed.

The Golden Land Trap monsters — Conquistador, Guardian, and Huaquero — each Special Summon themselves as Zombie Normal Monsters and trigger a disruptive bonus effect if Eldlich the Golden Lord is on the field: destroying a face-up card, reducing a monster's ATK to zero, or banishing a card from either Graveyard respectively. Each of them then cycles back during the End Phase by banishing itself to set an Eldlixir from the Deck, creating a self-perpetuating loop of Spells and Traps that keeps Eldlich the Golden Lord returning turn after turn. Golden Land Forever! converts any Zombie Tribute into a full negation and destruction, punishing opponents who attempt to break the board.

The deck strongly favours going first, constructing a Spell and Trap zone presence that proves difficult to out-resource over multiple turns. El Dorado Adelantado provides a late-game reset by shuffling three banished Eldlixirs or Golden Land cards back to destroy the entire field or halve the opponent's Life Points, giving the strategy a meaningful threat even in grind games that have exhausted its initial setup.
