Dream Mirror

Dream Mirror is an archetype that cycles its two Field Spells, Dream Mirror of Joy and Dream Mirror of Terror, in and out of the banish pile to sustain its engine. Both Fields banish themselves at the End Phase to replace each other directly from the Deck, meaning the deck rarely runs dry on its core resource. Dream Mirror Fantasy recycles banished copies of both Fields back into the Deck when needed, while Dream Mirror Recap can pull a banished or graveyard Field back into play immediately during the Main Phase. This constant field rotation is not incidental to the strategy but the mechanism by which nearly every monster effect in the deck is triggered.

The monsters themselves come in LIGHT and DARK pairs, each version tributing itself to summon its counterpart from the Deck whenever a specific Field is active. Neiroy, the Dream Mirror Traitor starts the chain on Normal Summon by searching Neiroy, the Dream Mirror Disciple and fetching whichever Field Spell is needed, then tributing a monster to Special Summon a Dream Mirror monster of a different Level from the Deck. This cascading tribute-and-replace loop keeps the board stocked while generating the Fusion Material needed to bring out Oneiros, the Dream Mirror Tormentor or Oneiros, the Dream Mirror Erlking via Dream Mirror of Chaos. Tormentor negates monster effects while Dream Mirror of Terror is active, and Erlking destroys cards whenever another friendly monster is tributed — an effect the deck triggers naturally and repeatedly through its own loop.

Dream Mirror Oneiromancy adds a counter trap layer that negates either Spell and Trap activations or Special Summons depending on which Field is present, giving the deck real going-first teeth. Dream Mirror Phantasms buffs the player's monsters and debuffs the opponent's simultaneously when both Fields are up, compounding the pressure that the Fusion monsters already apply.
