Playing Style
Death is a Zombie archetype that treats the graveyard as both a resource and a recurring pool of bodies, constantly sending and reviving Level 6 monsters to power through its Xyz plays. Hublot the Dark Directory of Death is the deck's primary engine piece: it can be Normal Summoned without a Tribute, immediately mills a Level 6 or higher Zombie from the Deck, then exchanges that card for one already waiting in the graveyard. This sets up a tight loop where material reaches the graveyard quickly and returns to hand just as fast, keeping the supply of monsters consistently topped up.
Officiating Reverie feeds that same engine from a different angle. It can pitch itself directly from hand with a discard cost, providing a free body on the field, then continues generating advantage after it is consumed as Xyz Material: when any Xyz Monster hits the graveyard, Reverie can banish itself to Special Summon a Zombie from the graveyard, and then reattaches to an Xyz Monster during the following Standby Phase. This recycling behaviour means the deck rarely runs dry even after committing resources to Xyz Summons.
Officiator of Doom Samuel is the payoff those two pieces build toward. Using two Level 6 monsters as material, Samuel can revive a Zombie from the graveyard as a Quick Effect during the Main Phase and simultaneously negate an opposing monster whose ATK falls at or below the revived monster's own, giving the deck meaningful interaction without stepping outside its own gameplan. Should Samuel itself be destroyed, its departure triggers a shuffle effect that removes a monster from either graveyard, denying the opponent material they might otherwise exploit.
