Facing a Cyber deck often means watching a Fusion Monster land on board before your opponent has used their Normal Summon. Cyber Dragon, the Luminous Mech Dragon can Special Summon itself from the hand when no monsters are present, immediately negating an opposing monster's effects, then trigger its built-in Fusion Summon to convert itself and hand or field material into a Machine Fusion straight from the Extra Deck. Cyber Jormungardr extends that opening further by self-summoning when the opponent has a monster, fetching a Cyber Dragon from the Deck to either deploy or equip, then bouncing that same Cyber Dragon back to search Polymerization. Together, these two create fast, low-resource access to large Fusion bodies without needing conventional setup.
The deck's recovery tools are just as pressuring as its openers. Cyber Eternal returns any Machine Cyber Fusion Monster from the Graveyard to the Extra Deck or Special Summons it outright, ignoring Summoning conditions entirely, and its banished presence continues to shield those Fusion Monsters from destruction by battle or card effect. Attachment Cybern adds another layer by reviving a Dragon or Machine Cyber monster from the Graveyard whenever it leaves an equipped monster, turning apparent setbacks into immediate follow-up plays.
The included Fusion finisher, Cyber End Dragon, the Final Strike Dragon, rewards an all-LIGHT build by fetching Limiter Removal directly from the Deck, which can push its attack figure high enough to close the game through three separate attacks and piercing damage in a single Battle Phase. Decks that cannot answer the initial Fusion board before that sequence assembles will find the position difficult to reverse.
