Playing Style
The graveyard is the engine room of a Borrel deck. Monsters flow in and out of it constantly, with cards like Borreload Savage Dragon equipping Link Monsters directly from the GY to generate negation counters, Borreload Furious Dragon banishing itself to revive a DARK Link Monster, and Triple Borrel Launch cycling Dragons back into the Deck to recover resources or disrupt the opponent's GY. Trisborrel Dragon adds key Spells on summon while also pulling GY monsters back to hand by destroying a controlled card, keeping the hand replenished even as the field churns through material.
The deck builds towards a layered board using its chain of Link Monsters as both stepping stones and finishers. Breachborrel Dragon searches Borrel Spell and Trap cards on Link Summon, Quadborrel Dragon demolishes opposing monsters and floods the board with Rokkets, and Borrelshroud Dragon can deploy a Link-4 or lower Borrel Link Monster at the start of the Battle Phase, turning defence into an immediate offensive threat. Borrelend Dragon sits at the top of that chain, attacking every opponent's monster individually, negating effects, and reviving Rokkets from the GY in a response window the opponent cannot interrupt.
Going second is where the archetype is most comfortable. Borreload Dragon steals monsters on attack, Borreload Liberator Dragon seizes control during the Battle Phase without allowing a response, and Borrelsword Dragon halves a defender's ATK while doubling its own attacks, making it straightforward to dismantle established boards and push through lethal damage in a single turn.
