Playing Style
Blitzclique is a Thunder-type archetype that can act on as little as a single card in hand. Each of the core monsters — Surge, Grain, and Emi Blitzclique — destroys a card on the field simply by being revealed from the hand, then immediately Special Summons another Thunder monster from the hand in response to that destruction. That chain of reveals and summons lets the deck extend across a full board from a minimal starting hand, with Whisker Blitzclique capping sequences by Special Summoning up to three Thunder monsters at once and destroying a matching number of the opponent's cards on the same resolution.
The second effects on each monster reward being on the field when destruction occurs. Surge Blitzclique adds any other archetype member from the Deck, Emi Blitzclique fetches a Blitzclique Trap, and Grain Blitzclique retrieves a Blitzclique Spell or Hideout in the Sky, Coulomb, keeping resources flowing as long as the deck keeps destroying things. Blitzclique - Breakaway and Blitzclique - Steppleader recur themselves from the Graveyard under the same condition, meaning the deck naturally rebuilds its Spell and Trap presence each turn without dedicating draw power to do so.
Going first, the deck favours establishing Blitzclique Return Stroke, which prevents the archetype's monsters from being destroyed by the opponent's effects and can negate a Spell by bouncing one of those monsters back to the hand for reuse. Crackle Blitzclique adds a reactive layer on top of that, destroying an opponent's on-field monster effect activation during their turn and immediately supplying another Thunder body from the hand, giving the deck genuine disruption without needing to commit to Extra Deck resources.
