Blackwings center their strategy on rapid Synchro Summoning, leveraging a large suite of monsters that Special Summon themselves from the hand with minimal conditions. Cards like Blackwing - Bora the Spear and Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind flood the field simply by requiring another Blackwing already in play, while Blackwing - Blizzard the Far North and Blackwing - Harmattan the Dust generate additional bodies by recycling from the Graveyard or stacking Levels for precise Synchro plays. This density of free Special Summons lets the deck construct Synchro Summons quickly and consistently, often across multiple bodies in a single turn.
