The card Argostars most wants to resolve is Argostars - Glorious Adra's Normal Summon, which locks the opponent out of responding to Continuous Trap activations and their effects for the entire turn. With that protection in place, the deck deploys its Continuous Traps — Lightning Tydeu, Slayer Eteo, and Swift Capane — freely and then flips them into Level 4 Warrior monsters to build a board. Each of those traps carries a passive buff in the Spell & Trap Zone alongside the ability to retreat back to that zone as a Quick Effect, letting them oscillate between protection and body as the situation demands.

Getting to Glorious Adra reliably is the job of the supporting engine. Argostars - Giantslaying searches any archetype monster and can chain into a free Normal Summon if a Continuous Trap is already present, while Argostars - Lightning Tydeu searches any archetype card upon converting itself to a monster. Argostars - Fierce Parthe adds a layer of speed by Special Summoning itself from the hand via a Quick Effect in exchange for bouncing a Continuous Trap, and can then banish itself to set a trap directly from hand and activate it the same turn. Argostars - Adventurous Arion ties the loop together by searching archetype spells off its Xyz Summon and recovering Continuous Traps from the graveyard in the Standby Phase.

The deck skews heavily towards going first, stacking Continuous Traps that grant battle destruction immunity through Swift Capane and effect destruction immunity through Slayer Eteo. Argostars - Home Stadium amplifies the pressure by negating opponent cards whenever a Continuous Trap activates in the Monster Zone while a banished Argostars monster exists, a condition the deck satisfies naturally through Fierce Parthe and Glorious Adra's own banish costs.
