Ally of Justice is a DARK Machine archetype built to dismantle LIGHT-attribute strategies, and it typically requires several pieces on the field before its gameplan becomes threatening. The deck accumulates monsters gradually, using low-Level effects like Ally of Justice Searcher and Ally of Justice Cyclone Creator to disrupt the opponent's set-up while assembling enough bodies for a Synchro Summon. Ally Mind is the principal Tuner in most builds, combining with non-Tuner monsters to reach Ally of Justice Catastor at Level 5, which automatically destroys any face-up non-DARK monster at the start of the Damage Step without needing to resolve battle damage.

Against LIGHT-heavy decks, the archetype escalates sharply. Ally of Justice Decisive Armor arrives via a three-material Synchro Summon and punishes opponents who have LIGHT monsters on the field, offering the choice between targeted destruction, wiping all Spell and Trap Cards, or stripping LIGHT monsters directly from the opponent's hand and converting their ATK into burn damage. Ally of Justice Light Gazer grows larger for each LIGHT monster sitting in the opponent's Graveyard, while Cycle Reader can banish those monsters in response to prevent recovery. Ally of Justice Quarantine locks the opponent out of Special Summoning LIGHT monsters entirely, which can be crippling against the strategies the deck is designed to prey upon.

The archetype struggles considerably against DARK or non-LIGHT decks, where cards like Thousand Arms and Reverse Break become liabilities rather than assets and the conditional ATK bonuses of Garadholg and Rudra never activate.
